As in the 40ies, when jazz musicians were playing hits from the movies and musicals, Antje Uhle takes songs coming from her grand treasure chest of experience - transferring them into the sound of the classic piano trio reflecting her charm and humour. Together with her colleagues Nikolaus Reichel at the bass and Hajo von Hadeln at the drums, she enchants her audience with soft Brazilian grooves and swinging pearls from the American song repertoire. It’s the sort of music creating a perfect atmosphere for every exceptional event as well as being an invitation to listen. Surprisingly many songs can be heard in a way they have never been heard before: full of harmony, melody and swing. For the entire evening, from the entry until the late night party, the “pure” trio will be completed by one of the most famous saxophonists of the international music world: Frank Loef is completing the trio with his sensational smoky sound and soul at the tenor saxophone and making it perfect with the lightness of his flute playing Brazilian bossa novas and chilly grooves. He has been awarded an endless number of prizes and may be listened to playing solo on more than 2000 records and radio recordings. Our personal DJ fills into the intermissions with his extra program in addition to live music along with the soul party and thus provides for a genuine and perfect flow through the entire evening. |
